I moved here last year and am still trying to get to know the area. I love to do pretty much anything outside. Even better if it's outside somewhere that I've never been.
I would love to get to know the local area and what activities are available. In addition to doing things I've done before, I'd love to try new things and places to go. Trips along the east coast would help me learn what's close by. Additionally, there are many activities which I have done before and would like to learn more about, such as climbing, kayaking, and backpacking.
I've been all over the United States in addition to Canada, Europe, and Russia. My favorite trip was staying in a chalet in the Swiss Alps (Crans Montana). The scenery was breathtaking (literally) and I learned so much experiencing their culture. I got to ski and hike in the summer, meet and learn from cow herders that lived on the mountain, and eat some awesome food.
I am a Research and Development Engineer with a medical device company. In my free time I am an avid cyclist. I also enjoy exploring the area by jumping in my car and driving to a new unexperienced town. On a rainy day, I enjoy cooking and reading.
