What's Involved

The Course itself is scheduled for 4 weeks, but we can adapt it to meet your needs. One of the nice things about our program is that you can take as long as you want to do your course. So, as long as you are helping on the boats, you can dive for free and hang around for months if you so choose. Or, if you are in a hurry, our staff can tailor the program to meet you needs.

In the four week program we start with introductory academics the first week and test your diving (and swimming) skills to bring them up to a high level. We teach you about your role in helping with classes, helping with certified divers, and the programs that you can run yourself as a certified divemaster. The second week you start to help on classes and we offer lectures in some of the dive theory subjects. Over the three weeks you will learn about dive physics, physiology, decompression theory, equipment and environmental issues. The third week you continue with helping with open water classes and we suggest you help on an advanced or a rescue class. You will also have to prepare an emergency management plan and a dive site map.

During the whole program you will be diving as much as you like and having a great time.
